  1. Denim Day Walk 2018

    April 25, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Irwindale City Hall

Join the Irwindale Police Department as we participate in “Denim Day 2018” in honor of Sexual Violence Awareness, a campaign by the organization Peace Over Violence. Wearing jeans on “Denim Day” has become a symbol of protest against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual assault. We invite community members, elected officials, businesses and students to make a social statement with their fashion by wearing jeans on this day as a visible means of protest against the misconceptions that surround sexual assault. Join us for a short walk around the Irwindale Civic Center as police department and city hall employees promote “Denim Day 2018”. Those wishing to attend our event are asked to meet in front of Irwindale City Hall at 4PM. Wear your jeans!
