Reopening City Facilities and Services

Updated: June 25, 2020

This page provides a summary of the city’s current recovery and reopening approach for city facilities and services.

Irwindale has organized reopening phases that are responsive to the state and county levels and that allow the city flexibility to make decisions in the best interest of the organization and community. The City will continue to follow state and county public health guidance, however, the timelines and phases that Irwindale is implementing take into account operational capability and resource allocation, as well as community need.

Many  services formerly offered in-person continue to be available via email, telephone and now  by appointment only to meet the needs of our community in this interim period.

The City will be moving into Phase 2 of reopening, which is generally summarized below and intended to align with the LA County Reopening Safer At Work And In The Community order.
