[ARCHIVED] Planned Closure of All Southbound Lanes of Irwindale Avenue Between Arrow Highway and Cypress Street

On Saturday June 9, 2018, beginning at 7:00 AM, All-American Asphalt, a contractor for the city of Irwindale, will be repaving the southbound lanes of Irwindale Avenue between Arrow Hwy and Cypress Street.

This work will require the closure of ALL SOUTHBOUND lanes of Irwindale Avenue between Arrow Highway and Cypress Street. 

The intersections of Irwindale Avenue at Arrow Highway, Irwindale Avenue at Hidalgo Street, Irwindale Avenue at Juarez Street, Irwindale Avenue at Tapia Street and Irwindale Avenue at Cypress Street will be fully or partially closed due to this work.

Detours will be in place to direct southbound traffic to either Vincent Street or Azusa Canyon Road.

All northbound on Irwindale Avenue will remain open during this time.

Residents on Hidalgo Street and Juarez Streets will have access through the intersections at Irwindale Avenue during this work. 

This work will begin at 7:00 AM and is expected conclude at 7:00 PM.

A representative from the City of Irwindale's Public Works Department will be on  site throughout the course of this work.

It is anticipated that this road work will result in signficant delays and congestion in the listed areas.  Residents and motorists are asked to be aware of this closure and use alternative routes to avoid the area.
