Officer Michael Martinez Retires After 15+ Years of Service

Mike Martinez

Today, are giving our grateful goodbyes to Reserve Police Officer Michael Martinez, who is retiring after 15-plus years of service to Irwindale Police Department.

Reserve Officer Martinez was sworn-in in March, 2005 and has faithfully served our community since then.

As a Reserve Police Officer, Officer Martinez provided all of the same services and met all of the same continuing professional training standards that regular police officers did, but he did so on a volunteer basis and in addition to his full-time job.

Officer Martinez and his family are residents in the city of Irwindale, so he truly has given back to his community all these years.

Thank you for your service Officer Martinez and we wish you nothing but the best in retirement.  Your big smile and positive attitude will be missed!
