I have read that there is concern that the new outlet mall will end up being another failed mall. I ask the city to make sure that the quality of this mall is better than other outlet malls. I would recommend looking at the designs of successful outdoor malls like Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Downtown Disney in Anaheim, etc. I realize that this is not an upscale mall but it should be a place that is beautiful to visit. There is a lot of competition out there. It needs to do better than what is already out there.
I do hope that it is going to have character/charm and that it is not going to look like an industrial complex. A place that the residents can be proud of having in their city. Designing something that people will flock to will make sure that it is even more successful.

The tech industry is known for offering high paying jobs. Monrovia has been able to get a few high tech companies to move in the area. I was just reading that tech companies are having trouble getting employees because the areas they are in are so high priced. It might be possible for Irwindale to encourage a few high tech companies to build their beautiful creative campuses in Irwindale. It would be a huge boost to the local economy. The tech industry is known for offering high paying jobs. Monrovia has been able to get a few high tech companies to move in the area. I was just reading that tech companies are having trouble getting employees because the areas they are in are so high priced. It might be possible for Irwindale to encourage a few high tech companies to build their beautiful creative campuses in Irwindale. It would be a huge boost to the local economy. I am a resident of your city and was wondering if you could help me with a few questions. Regarding the newly passed adult marijuana use act (Prop 64). I have noticed most cites are taking a sit and wait stance on this act except Long beach and LA. Can you give me some insight on what our great city will be doing or is doing? The reason I ask is in order to obtain a state license you need to have a location already leased or bought in the city by Jan 1, 2018 and must adhere to local regulations. If our city does sit and wait it could lose a lot of money from the Tax’s. Any insight would be extremely helpful.
