   The City of Irwindale is updating the Housing and Safety Elements of the General Plan, and is preparing a new Environmental Justice Element, as required by the State of California. The purpose of this update is to guide planning to address current and future housing and safety needs of the community, and to ensure equal protection and meaningful involvement from all members of the community.

   Answers to the following questions will help us better understand how we can tailor the General Plan Elements to best meet community needs.  We will also publicize community workshops where you will have additional opportunities to provide input.
