 lifeguardOur 25 meter swimming pool has two standard diving boards, one high dive, and measures 3 feet in depth in the shallow end to 12 feet in depth in the deep end. We also have a 1 foot deep wading pool that is perfect for the little ones. The Irwindale Swimming pool will tentatively re-open Summer 2023.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Irwindale Aquatic Center will open for Recreational swimming on Saturdays and Sundays (12:00pm - 4:00pm) from August 27 - September 25, 2022

Late Summer - Fall  Classes and Programs. (August 2022- October 2022) 

Mindful Waters: Self guided mediation/ mindfulness session. Float around in the shallow end of the pool in our pillow hammocks and let the water do the rest. 

Aqua Stand Up:  Is a total body workout class on an inflatable stand up paddleboard. Training program mixed in with different exercises like HIIT, Pilates, and Yoga. 

Aqua Walk/ Senior Splash: Individuals can walk the shallow end of the pool at the patrons own pace. Using equipment the Aquatic Center has to provide, such as wrist and ankle weights, light and medium water dumbbells and pool noodles. Senior Splash will also be offered at this time. 

Irwindale Sharks Swim Team: Join the Irwindale Sharks Swim Team open to ages 7 - 17. 

AquaFitness: Participants will develop strength, flexibility and endurance while moving to the latest tunes. Where else can you have fun, stay cool and get in shape.  This summer course is offered by Mt. SAC Community College in partnership with Irwindale Aquatic Center.


Summer Classes and Programs ( June 2022 - August 2022)

Swimming Lessons: Focuses on building swimming skills while learning to enjoy the water. Open to those ages 4 and older.

Parent and Me Swimming Class: Introduce your child at a young age to safely become familiar with the water while using songs and constructive play. 

Summer Season Swim Team: Join the Irwindale Sharks Swim Team open to ages 7 - 17.  

Senior Splash Days: Swimming pool fun for adult ages 50+

Aquabilities: Aquabilities is a program open to all of our friends with disabilities.

Water Polo Clinic: A clinic designed for all skill levels to those ages 16 and older.

Aqua Volleyball Clinic: Come along and take part in an aqua volleyball clinic. Open to those ages 16 and older.

Requirements

All pool patrons are required to wear proper swim attire which includes a swimsuit for females, swim trunks for males, and water diapers for children 3 and under. Any child 6 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
