Three new police officers were welcomed to the Irwindale Police Department family last month during a swearing-in ceremony at a recent City Council meeting.
Police Officers Luz Aguilar, Joseph Cota and Ilse Galindo are all recent additions to the IPD team and are currently going through the department's Field Training Program.
The three officers come to us with substantial prior law enforcement experience with Officer Aguilar previously serving with the Sierra Madre Police Department, Officer Cota serving with the Baldwin Park Police Department and Officer Galindo serving with the Westminster Police Department.
At the City Council Meeting, the new officers were introduced by Chief Miranda and were sworn in by Mayor Mark A. Breceda. The new officers' family then pinned on their Irwindale police badge!
If you see these officers out on the street, please welcome them to the Irwindale community!
